Career Coaching

What does career coaching involve? Career coaching can involve one, or a series, of one-on-one confidential discussions with a career consultant who provides support for your career development and goals. Depending on your developmental needs you could explore:

  • your personal work style or career interests using surveys such as the Myers-
Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) or the Strong Interest Inventory (SII)
  • professional development courses or certifications that build the skills required for your goals
  • strategies for the job search including how to conduct information interviews and build a network
  • how to best market your skills and abilities on a resume and cover letter
  • how to present yourself during a hiring interview.
