Recent Gallup poll reveals that less than two out of ten people say they spend the majority of their day "playing to their strengths". Even if you have to spend 25% of each day doing things you don't like to do, this still leaves 75% of your time at work to fill with activities that call upon your strengths. Strengths philosophy is rooted in positive psychology and provides a framework for us to recognize our unique strengths as well as the unique and different strengths of our colleagues, team, family, and students. Knowing and developing your top five strengths provides an opportunity for you to live a life that plays to your strengths.
You will:
- Identify your individual Strengths
- Explore the paradigm shift of Strength based philosophy
- Challenge 3 myths that may hold you back from creating a life that plays to your strengths
- Discuss strategies to leverage the strengths of your team
NOTE: REGISTRATION CLOSES MAY 9, participants will need to complete Gallup StrengthsQuest online inventory by May 11
