Wednesday, November 19, 2014, 12:00pm - 01:00pm

tangchoyHave you heard the saying, "It's not who you know, it's who knows you?"  Networking plays a crucial role in professional development, and online platforms have significantly increased the number of ways that we can connect.  Learn how to maximize your online presence by connecting with other like-minded professionals.  This webinar will review:

  • The benefits of online networking for professional development
  • Popular social networking platforms
  • Strategies to help you develop new contacts online
  • Ways to follow-up with new connections

This session is geared towards beginner and intermediate social media users.  If you have an online networking question that you would like the webinar to address, please e-mail advance questions to Beverly Kahn at b.kahn@utoronto.ca by Friday, November 14th.

Are you on Twitter?  Pose questions to @tangchoy and comment using #UTstaffconnect, during the webinar!
