The Art of Accepting & Giving Feedback

Almost everyone finds it difficult to both accept and give feedback gracefully. Praise tends to embarrass us, and our natural reaction to criticism is to become angry or defensive. This is especially true if we have a sneaking suspicion that the criticism was deserved. Formulating the right language in giving feedback can be equally challenging without some techniques.


Everyone makes mistakes and it is our supervisor’s duty to correct our errors. Everyone needs to learn how to accept and learn from both positive and negative feedback.


Learn how to:

  • Practice effective listening skills for positive results
  • Create clear, concise feedback messages that will be heard and understood
  • Rephrase blunt wording for improved communication
