Campus Walk: Quiet Space for Contemplation

Friday, October 19, 2018, 12:00pm - 01:00pm

Ready to move slowly through the middle of your day? Situated in the heart of Canada’s largest city, the University of Toronto provides dozens of quiet spaces tucked away, just out of sight! Join us – rain or shine – on this stroll to contemplative quiet spaces. Can’t you feel your shoulders drop already?

Erika is the sort of person you stop on the street to ask directions. She’s worked at U of T for over 17 years, and her connection to the university spans 25 years of volunteer and professional work, alumni engagement, studies, varsity athletics, mentorship, educational and co-curriculuar facilitation, and building community with colleagues from all areas and roles. Erika’s research explored how people tell their stories about places and how this impacts their identity and environmental choices.

Location: Soldier’s Tower by the memorial wall
Presenter: Erika Bailey, Lead Coordinator, Career Exploration
