This presentation will include basic principles of movement with respect to spine and hip health. You will learn how to prepare for the physical demands of daily tasks by understanding how your body works. Breakout sessions will include strategies for lifting and other common tasks such as: work station usage and posture, as well as exercises and strategies to counter the effects of excessive sitting at the workplace.

Josh Kahn is a personal trainer and nutritionist at the Faculty of Kinesiology & Physical Education. He promotes evidence-based injury prevention strategies and training methods.  Josh has a strong background in Biology, Public Health, Kinesiology and many years of coaching experience.
