HRIS: Understanding HR Data Verification Errors & Payroll Rejects HR 7-850

The HR Data Verification Errors and Payroll Rejects Course requires learners to understand the consequences that the common incorrect payroll records may cause payroll rejects during the pay run process, or other pay/financial posting errors.  This course is intended for HRIS users who are responsible for processing employee data and payment details for all staff groups set up in HRIS. The course provides users with demonstrations and hands-on practice of how to correct the errors and warnings from the HR Data Verification Report.

At the end of the session, learners will be able to:

  • Understand the importance of data integrity/accuracy in the HRIS system
  • Understand the content of the HR Data Verification messages
  • Understand the implication of the HR Data Verification messages
  • Understand the root cause of the common HRIS and Payroll errors

e-Token - For this particular course the attendee should have an e-Token and ensure that it is activated prior to coming to the course. If you do not have an e-Token assigned to you, please inform the instructor and someone will log you in when you arrive. Information on obtaining and activating an e-Token can be found on the Information Technology Services website or by speaking to your department administrator.
