HRIS:AMS Overview HR 7-100

Monday, September 09, 2019, 01:00pm - 03:30pm
This repeat is an exception to the normal repeat pattern

The HRIS Overview course provides the user with a presentation of the HRIS system covering access, navigation, roles, key functions, how to change settings, searching HR/payroll screens and the different message types on the HRIS system. It also takes an in-depth look at the HRIS Home Page covering Resources, Fast Entry tools and Procedure Documentation. The course is both presentation and hands-on classroom training; it is not required for you to log-in.  However, you can follow along and navigate the system using your own e-token on the live AMS system for your own Org. Unit(s).
At the end of the session, learners will be able to:

  • Apply a common understanding of displaying, maintaining and searching employee information using the HRIS functions
  • Apply a common understanding of changing settings, creating favourites and folders, maintaining text on employee records and navigating the main HRIS tree of folders
  • Navigate the Human Resources and Equity website to find processing support such as Payroll Schedules, Fast Entry Tools, Resources, Polices and Procedure Documentation for onlining pay and HR related information
