Adobe illustrator CC Level 1

Wednesday, July 24, 2019, 09:00am - 04:00pm

Adobe Illustrator is the industry-standard program for creating smooth vector-based artwork for print and the web. After learning the different ways to view and navigate existing Illustrator documents, you’ll learn how to create a new document, work with the shape and selection tools, plus add solid colour and gradients to the fill and stroke attributes of the objects you’ve created.

In this 6-hour introductory course, you will be walked through the process of drawing with the pencil and pen tools, learn how to modify existing paths and a few ways to transform objects. You will also be introduced to working with type and imported graphics to build a simple poster layout. Finally, you will be shown how to save your work as a PDF or export to other graphic formats for the web.
